Hello, I’m Carrie Coman, otherwise known as Mrs. Coman or Miss Carrie. I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Electric Engineering from Georgia Tech. Needless to say, I love math and science! For the last 21 years I have been teaching and tutoring individuals and small groups from preschool through college. During this time, I have tutored all major subjects and levels. These have included not only math and science, but English composition, history, formal and informal logic, debate, and Latin. I have loved tutoring them all! I am happiest when I am learning something new, and I have enjoyed the journey of reclaiming my own education. Both my children were homeschooled through high school, and my teaching methods have been steeped in the Socratic Method for the last 13 years.
